Bill has three decades of consulting in a range of industries, from medium sized companies to large Fortune 500 corporations. He is a hands-on practitioner who has helped organizations through major strategic, operational, and cultural change efforts, and has designed and implemented workshops, seminars and conferences for all levels of management.
He has served as an internal Director of OD for HSBC, the Investment Sector of AXA Financial, Estee Lauder Manufacturing, New York Power Authority Nuclear Plant, and Maritz Travel & Training, and the American Management Association International.
Bill co-founded Axelrod•Becker Consulting (ABC) after his association with The American Management Association International, where he was Director of Organizational Development for their domestic and international clients. ABC focuses on helping organizations optimize their external and internal relationships in an integrated way that leads to new streams of revenue, improved performance, and sustainable growth. He is also the CEO of Strategic Business Resources, an affiliate of ABC that offers a portfolio of organization consulting.
His most recent book, How To OD…And Live to Tell About It, has received outstanding reviews, and is available at all Barnes and Noble stores and at Amazon.Com. Articles written by Bill have also appeared in the United Kingdom’s Manchester School of Business Creativity and Innovation Management Journal, the American Management Associations’ M-World Resource Center and the National Organization Development publications OD Practitioner and Practicing. In addition, Bill is invited to present at national conferences for human resource, training, and organization development.
Bill has a master’s degree from UCLA, with extensive training at National Training Laboratories (NTL) in their core and advanced Organizational Development Programs. He is a former member of the National Association of Securities Dealers a founding member of SearchNet, and a former Board member of the Organization Development Network of Greater New York. Bill is a former adjunct Professor at the New School in New York City, where he taught Organization Development and Human Resources Management in their Human Resource Masters Degree Program, and is currently an Adjunct Professor at New York University.
